I decided to complete this tag so that you guys could get to know me a little better :)

·       Is it cute when guys kiss you on your forehead? 

            Yes ! I think it shows affection and that he cares about you

·       A big poofy dress or a short party dress?

     Probably short-medium length dress with tights. I think a big poofy dress wouldn't suit me, although may look nice if teamed with a waist belt.

·       Are diamonds a girl's best friend?
      I don't think so! I do love my diamond ring though, it's beautiful :)

·       Is your hair up or down today? 
      It's up today, although 90% of the time it's down

·       Do you straighten your hair?
      Not all the time, but I think my hair looks nicest when it is straightened
 

·       Favourite mascara?
      This is a really tough question as I have so many. I loved Hypnôse Precious Cells by Lancome but at the moment my favourite is probably Loreal Mega Volume in Extra Black. I also highly recommend Avon Spectra Lash mascara (it is really affordable and so good for the price!)

·       Do you get your nails done?
      I've never had my nails done professionally, I quite like doing it myself actually!
 

·       Small or large purses?
      I would say it depends on what I am doing that day. For University I would say  a large bag so that I can fit in everything I need. I don't use small purses they just seem impractical.

·       Jeans or sweats?
     Jeans, I don't think I have ever purchased sweats, haha 

·       Do you wear clothes/shoes/jewellery that's uncomfortable? 
      Most of the clothes/ shoes and jewellery I wear is comfortable, I would avoid purchasing things that would be uncomfortable as I really think it would impact my mood in a negative way as I would constantly be feeling uncomfortable.

·       Do you text message a lot?
     Yes.. I think it happens when you have a Blackberry as it is just so easy and quick to text
 

·       What is your favourite colour?
      Probably black or grey (I must sound so dull but I think they are so versatile). I like coral and pastels for the summer :)

·       Heels or flats?
     Flats as I am already really tall (5 ft 9/10 I think!). I prefer wedges to heels as they are more comfortable :)

·       Would you ever leave the house without makeup on? 
      Yep

·       Walmart or Target?
      I live in England so can't really answer this question as we don't have either of those stores (as far as I know). Although when I went on holiday to Canada, I loved Walmart as it has quite literally everything!
 

·       Do you think lip gloss is the best!
      No, I don't really use lip gloss, I hate the feel of it on my lips, and sometimes I find it looks too shiney/glittery. I prefer lipsticks as I find they last longer and doesn't feel as heavy

·       Do you own any big sunglasses?
      Yes! my sunglasses keep breaking though  :( LAME!

·       How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
      Probably 30 minutes because my wardrobe/room is so messy

·       Gold or silver?
      Gold, but not too much as it can look quite brash if you wear too much at once. I love my gold necklace so much and wear it 24/7

·       Do you like to wear dresses?
      Yes. I do own a lot of dresses

·       In the last 48 hours have you hung out with a guy?
      Yes, My boyfriend

·       Do you like to hold hands?
      Yep

·       What do you notice when you first meet a guy?
      I would probably say eyes,.. as Shakespeare said "eyes are a window to the soul". Although in all honesty personality and intelligence are more important than looks. Another thing I think most girls notice is whether a guy is confident and his attitude

·       Do you like making eye contact?
      Haha. This is a really bad habit of mine, I tend to look down a lot when walking and avoid eye contact, probably because I am quite shy and it makes me feel quite awkward making eye contact with someone that I don't necessarily know. Although recently I've been trying to improve this and I think it has worked to a certain extent. If I know someone then I find it easier to make eye contact as I'm more at ease.  

·       Would you kill for chocolate?
     I love chocolate so much to be honest.. I just ate a Galaxy Bar so not right now/ten celebrations!

·       On a scale from 1-10 how fun is shopping?
      8-9.. It can be stressful due to queues and if it's really busy. I also dislike shopping if I see something I really like but it's not available in my size :( I also hate long queues!

·       Do you yell a lot?
     Nope, not really, I'd like to think that I am a fairly calm and collected person and I don't think shouting really helps to resolve issues

·       Do you wear sweatpants/pyjamas to school/work?
      Never. 

·       Have you ever dressed unlike yourself to impress a guy?
     No, you shouldn't have to change who you are or yourself to impress someone else

·       What makeup could you not live without?
      I would probably say eye liner as I think it is a staple item for me and it makes such a dramatic difference to my eyes

·       Do you fall in love easily?
     No, I've only ever been in love once and luckily still am <3.

·        Do you have cramps?
     No...?  Random question!

First Blog post! - 19/09/2012

Hey everyone!
My name is Andeep, I am 20 years old currently live in the UK (Southampton..sunny Southampton today!).

I'm not entirely sure whether many people will even read this as well this is my first ever blog post, however after shopping today for the best part of 6-7 hours.. I received a lot of compliments on what I was wearing today and 3 people came up to me and asked me where my dress was from! (Topshop!) So I thought that by creating this blog I would be able to show and let people know what I am wearing on a weekly basis. I intend to update this blog every week and hopefully I should be able to keep to that unless my University workload gets on top of me (Fingers crossed that doesn't happen!)

I never even thought that what I was wearing was even considered fashionable, as I tend to just wear whatever I feel like wearing on the day and generally don't follow fashion trends as such, although I do have an obsession with reading fashion magazines especially Vogue.

What I am wearing today:

• 1950s-1960s shoulder pad dress with gold bead embellishments and lace detail by MotelRocks (TopShop) in XS
• Black tights
• Black shoes
• Gold necklace
• Purple Accessorize Bag
• Red lipstick! (goes with the 50s-60s theme /Mad Men inspired! <3)
• Sky blue nail varnish (very uncoordinated ...)

I thought I would add my failed attempt to take photographs of my dress, odd considering I have almost 100,000 views on my Flickr (www.flickr.com/Andeep). Haha, I guess I have never been the subject of my photographs until now.


 Also, Sorry about the first photograph being slightly out of focus.. My mother is not great with technology!
I will add some more photographs to this post ASAP however I have to go now!
